Interzoo Publishing is a leading multimedia publisher specializing in veterinary and human medicine. Founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1987, Interzoo provides top-quality information and services to veterinary practitioners, veterinary technicians, and other veterinary health care professionals, as well as to pet owners. Interzoo’s approach makes publications user-friendly, and is well-attuned to the needs of busy professionals. Our policy is evident in our thoroughly illustrated, highly practical products.

Book and Journal Publication

  Interzoo publishes seven veterinary medical journals. The variety of coverage includes primary care, surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, exotic companion animals, and veterinary nursing. Illustrations, including clinical photographs and tables, are liberally inserted for better understanding. We also publish two industry papers for pet shops and veterinary clinics.
  We translate key titles from world-famous publishers, such as Elsevier, Wiley-Blackwell, Manson Publishing, and Teton New Media into Japanese. The selection of Interzoo’s original titles covers a broad range of subjects, with a primary focus on small animal practice. Coverage includes veterinary nursing, grooming, training, and glossaries.

Video/DVD Production

  Our selection consists of more than 250 different titles. Many of these titles are devoted to providing continuing education for veterinary practitioners and focus on diagnosis and surgical techniques. Also available are guidance videos for pet owners and groomers.

Event Management

  Interzoo provides a comprehensive service that facilitates the organization of seminars for veterinary professionals and pet owners. We take care of planning, negotiating with speakers, and arranging venues. We also organize promotional events sponsored by veterinary vocational schools to attract applicants.

Consultation Service

  Our 20 year of experience as an information provider to the veterinary industry enables us to offer consultation services. Interzoo offers marketing/sales promotion services and product development. Our rapport with veterinary professionals allows us to conduct surveys on clinics, pet shops, and pet owners.

Book Retailing in JAPAN

  Veterinary titles from Elsevier and Wiley are available through us. We provide information about these books in our free industry newspaper magazine, which is distributed monthly to veterinary clinics and hospitals.

Pet-Product Retailing

  Our free mail-order catalogue, Interzoo Clinic Club, is available at veterinary clinics throughout Japan. In addition to items for sale, Interzoo Clinic Club contains useful and reliable information concerning pet health management.
